We are located in an amazing small town that has deep roots in our loving community. We are a giant family and we love our community. A person who has helped pioneer gymnastics in this town is Richard West.  He has coached in Yuma for over 15 years.  Richard West has mentored many athletes who have aspired to continue with his legacy here within our gym. One of them was Teralene Blanner. Teralene was his gymnast from 1979 -1988.  Due to an injury she stopped competing and started to coach alongside Mr. West.  As she continued to coach she has inspired gymnasts to open their own facilities and also had them coaching along side her. Teralene eventually took full ownership of Gymnastics World of Yuma from 2016-2021.  In 2021 She asked if I would like to continue the history of gymnastics in this town by becoming the new owner as she could enjoy her well deserved retirement. This has been our gymnastics community and legacy coming full circle for decades. I am honored to continue this program with Gymnastics World of Yuma. My name is Margaret I grew up competing JO in Colorado for 13 years up to level 8 optional gymnast. I am grateful for the coaches here who have helped mold my own child's confidence. I am excited to change lives of the children in this community with the programs we have to offer. I believe in this strong foundation we have here. It would not be possible without our community and the people that have believed these kids are worth it!

Our support team consists of amazing safety certified coaches and we are like a family.  This includes people like you.  Sign up for classes and become part of our family.  Our families here are supportive of each other and it takes a village to create a safe and fun learning environment for our children. Our coaches are continually furthuring their education within this sport to equipt our athletes with the best training they can give. We pride ourselves on the positive and progressive safe learning enviornment. We are current on the sports newest established training and saftey procedues. We enjoy building our community strong around our athletes to give them the  utmost confidence! 

We believe in sportsmanship first. The sport is the game, and we are all in it together. While we are very competitive, we also want to support all the competitors as we strive to master this sport.  Every child that walks through the door is given a safe environment to release their stressors from their day. Today more then ever we realize how difficult life changes have been for our children. We want the kids to have a place they can forget about the outside problems.  Our goal is to help kids be there best and gymnastics is a great sport to do that.  It requires strength, discipline and breaking through mental blocks.  These characteristics that are built here will help them conquer so many more challenges that will occur in their lives.  We truly care about all these children that walk through our doors. They change our lives as much as we would like to help change theirs for the better!
